Vladimir Lazarevik began consulting in 2016 as a senior health expert with McKinsey & Co. and Arthur D. Little in Dubai. In January 2023, he joined NEOM as Head of Health System Financing. Early challenges due to unfamiliar consulting tools inspired him to establish LMC Academy and author You, the Consultant, a hands-on management consulting guide now the foundation of the LMC Academy’s curriculum. With his team, Vladimir is dedicated to developing talented consultants with a proactive, adaptable mindset.
He continues collaborating with leading firms in the Middle East on impactful health economics and strategic projects.

GCC Region:
• Purchasing Program Implementation (Senior Expert): Led implementation and strategic fine-tuning of health benefits packages and developed a Population Health Management Strategy. (7 months)
• Health Insurance (Engagement Manager): Directed the strategic foundation for healthcare benefit packages, pooling funds, and provider payments. (6 months)
• DRG and Relative Weights (Engagement Manager): Consulted on implementing IR DRG, focusing on estimating relative weights for patient classification. (6 months)
• Reimbursement Reforms (Senior Engagement Manager): Led the design and execution of reimbursement reforms, collaborating with DOH leadership. (24 months)
• Workforce Planning (Principal & Senior Engagement Manager): Developed workforce planning for the Eastern cluster, covering 1.2 million people. (8 months)
South Asia:
• New Hospital Setup (Senior Expert): Managed the PMO for a new world-class medical center in Bangkok, coordinating teams of 60+ during design phases. (6 months)
Africa:
• Health Insurance Finance Model (Senior Expert): Created a high-level financial model for sustainable health financing up to 2030. (3 months)
Vladimir has passionately mentored colleagues throughout his career, helping them master essential consulting skills.
